Tattoo Page
UX,UI
Project Overview
As part of my college degree, I undertook a complete redesign of a tattoo artist’s web page to improve its overall user experience, visual appeal, and functionality. The goal of this project was to modernize the site, making it more visually engaging while ensuring it communicates the artist's brand and unique style effectively.
My Contributions
I was responsible for every aspect of the tattoo page redesign, from initial research to the final design. I conducted user and industry research to identify key trends and best practices in web design for tattoo artists. Based on these insights, I created the site’s structure, developed wireframes, and designed a visually appealing and user-friendly interface. I also optimized the site for mobile devices, updated content, and improved navigation to enhance the overall user experience. My work ensured the site was modern, functional, and aligned with the artist’s brand identity.
The problem
Our tattoo studio faced significant challenges in attracting new clients due to the outdated and unprofessional appearance of our website. The lack of a visually appealing and user-friendly design led to a negative first impression for potential customers. This resulted in decreased online bookings and a missed opportunity to showcase our artistic talent and the unique atmosphere of our studio. Without a modern, cohesive online presence, we struggled to communicate our brand identity effectively and stand out in a competitive market.

UI Design
Our design process began with comprehensive research, focusing on both user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) elements. This phase involved analyzing user behavior, industry trends, and competitor websites to identify best practices and key features relevant to the tattoo industry.
Following the research, we moved into wireframing, developing the basic structure of the website to map out its layout and functionality. These wireframes helped shape the information architecture and user flow, ensuring smooth navigation and a seamless browsing experience.
Next, we transitioned to low-fidelity (low-fi) designs, where we introduced simple visual elements and minimal styling. This allowed for rapid iterations and feedback from stakeholders, helping to refine the page's layout and core structure.
Once the low-fi designs were optimized, we progressed to high-fidelity (hi-fi) designs, incorporating detailed visuals like typography, imagery, and interactive components. These hi-fi designs offered a clear, polished representation of the final website, showcasing the tattoo artist’s portfolio and brand identity.
Throughout the project, we followed an iterative design approach, refining the site continuously based on feedback and usability testing. This ensured the final design was not only visually striking but also aligned with user-centric design principles, offering an exceptional experience for potential clients.
The result
The redesigned website for All-in Body Art successfully met our goals and significantly enhanced the user experience for tattoo enthusiasts. Through a thoughtful design approach and user-centered features, we achieved the following results:
